From 8th September to 14th September, HIH Princess Akiko of Mikasa visited Republic of Turkey to attend an event organized by Prince Mikasa Foundation.
On 9th September, HIH Princess Akiko met with HE Mr Recep Tayyip ERDOGAN, President of the Republic of Turkey in Istanbul.
On 10th September, HIH Princess Akiko visited the mausoleum of modern Turkey’s founder, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, in Ankara.
On 11th September, HIH Princess Akiko attended a ceremony held for delivery of the mockup of Japanese Seiki warship that first visit to Ottoman was paid with it by Japan, at Naval Museum in Istanbul.
On 13th September, HIH Princess Akiko became the Honorary President of Prince Mikasa Foundation and attended the reception.
