From 28th July to 29th July, HIH Crown Prince Naruhito, HIH Crown Princess Masako and HIH Princess Aiko visited Mie Prefecture to visit Ise Jingu Grand Shrine.
It is the fisrt time for HIH Princess Aiko to visit Ise Jingu.
On 27th July, HIH Princ Fumihito and HIH Princess Kiko of Akishino attended the opening ceremony of the 38th All-Japan High School Cultural Festival held in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
On 29th July, HIH Prince Fumihito and HIH Princess Kako of Akishino watched the performance of Baton Twirling during the festival held in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
On that day, Their Imperial Highnesses visited National Insttute for Agro-Environmental Sciences in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
On 28th July, HIH Princess Hisako of Takamado attended the 31st Award Ceremony of Sankei International Calligraphy Exhibition Award held in Tokyo.
On 27th July, the ceremony commemorating that 50 days had passed since Prince Yoshihito of Katsuranomiya (Prince Katsura) passed away was held at Toshimagaoka Imperial Cemetery.
The members of Imperial Family gathered at the grave of Prince Katsura.
On 24th July, HIH Princess Mako of Akishinonomiya attended the opening ceremony of the 48th National Senior High School Equestrian Championship held in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
HIH Princess Mako made a speech at the ceremony and it was the first time for her to make a speech officially.
On 23rd July, HIM Emperor Akihito and HIM Empress Michiko visited Minami Sanriku Town to encourage the people. The town was heavily affected by the Graet East Japan Earthquake and the tsunami occurred on 11th March 2011 and 836 people are dead or missing.
On that day, Their Majesties visited Sanriku Reconstruction National Park of Kesennuma City.
On 24th July, Their Majesties visited Kesennuma Fishery Port affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
From 22th July to 24th July, HIM Emperor Akihito and HIM Empress Michiko visited Miyagi Prefecture.
On 22th July, Their Majesties visited national leper house in Tome City. Their Majesties had visited all 14 leper houses in Japan since 1968.

On 16th July, HIH Prince Masahito and HIH Princess Hanako of Hitachinomiya attended the Laureate Announcement Ceremony of Praemium Imperiale held at Quai Branly Museum in Paris.
At the evening, Their Imperial Highnesses attended the Memorial Banquet held at Luxembourg Palace in Paris.
