On 9th June, HM Emperor Akihito and HM Empress Michiko met with the recipients of MIDORI Prize and the Green Campaign Contributors awarded by Prime Minister at Imperial Residence.

On 9th June, HIH Prince Fumihito and HIH Princess Kiko of Akishino visited Kyoto Prefecture to attend the ceremony to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the organization supporting Sennyuji Temple.
HIH Prince Fumihito is the President of the organization.

On 9th June, HIH Princess Hisako and HIH Princess Ayako of Takamado attended the general meeting and the luncheon of Ikebana International took place at Hotel New Otani Tokyo.
HIH Princess Hisako is the Honorary President of Ikebana International.

On 10th June, HM Emperor Akihito and HM Empress Michiko held the luncheon for the ambassadors of Republic of Benin, Republic of Poland, Republic of Austria and Oriental Republic of Uruguay and their spouses at Imperial Palace. HIH Prince Fumihito and HIH Princess Mako of Akishino also attended the luncheon.

On 10th June, HIH Princess Kiko of Akishino attended the annual commendation ceremony of Japan Anti-Tuberculosis Association took place in Tokyo.
HIH Princess Kiko is the President of the association.
