From 2nd December to 12th December, HIH Princess Mako of Akishino visited Republic of El Salvador and Republic of Honduras commemorating the 80th anniversary of the establishment of he diplomatic relationships between Japan and both countries.
On 3rd December, HIH Princess Mako attended the welcoming ceremony and the ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relationship between Japan and Republic of El Salvador took place in San Salvador.
On 5th December, HIH Princess Mako visited the ancient ruins of Joya de Ceren.
On 6th December, HIH Princess Mako arrived in Republic of Honduras. On 7th December, HIH Princess Mako visited Copan Ruins and attended the opening ceremony of Copan Digital Museum.
On 8th December, HIH Princess Mako attended the ceremony commemorating the 40th anniversary of the dispatch of Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) to Republic of Honduras took place in Tegucigalpa.
On 8th December, HIH Princess Mako attended the banquet held by HE Mr Juan Orlando Hernandez Alvarado, President of the Republic of Honduras.
