On 7th September, HIH Princess Hisako of Takamadonomiya attended the 125th IOC session in Buenos Aires, Argentina. HIH Princess Hisako delivered a speech to express the gratitude for IOC’s support for reconstruction from East Japan Earthquake occurred on 11th March 2011. HIH Princess Hisako also mentioned that Imperial Family of Japan always supports the sports promotion and she took over the duty as the honorary president of 9 sport associations from her late husband, Prince Norihito of Takamadonomiya (1954-2002).
On 6th September, HIH Princess Hisako of Takamadonomiya attended the opening ceremony of the 125th IOC session in Buenos Aires, Argentine.
HIH Princess Hisako met with the members of IOC Evaluation Commission. She also met with HRH Crown Prince Felipe and HRH Crown Princess Letizia of Spain.
On 4th September, HIH Princess Kako of Akishinonomiya arrived at Narita International Airport from United States of America. HIH Princess Kako had stayed at American host family in Massachusettes for a month.
On 5th September, HIH Princess Akiko attended the party held at Japanese ambassador’s residence in Buenos Aires. The party was aimed at expressing the gratitude for the support for reconstruction from East Japan Earthquake occurred on 11th March 2011.
On 3rd Semptember, HIH Princess Hisako of Takamadonomiya departed for Argentine Republic. HIH Princess Hisako will meet with members of IOC Committee and attend the 125th IOC session to select the host city of 2020 Olympic Games.
On4th September, HIH Princess Akiko of Mikasanomiya also departed for Argentine Republic to meet with members of IOC Committee. After the visit to Argentine Republic, HIH Princess Akiko will visit Republic of Chile.
On 31st August, HIH Princess Kiko and HIH Princess Mako of Akishinonomiya attended the 30th National Sign Language Speech Contest for High School Students. HIH Princess Kiko delivered a speech in sign language. HIH Princess Kiko has been learning sign language since she was a university student.
